Red Light Therapy

Developed by NASA and FDA approved, Red Light Therapy is a unique type of light that has a stronger wavelength than other types of light. This enables it to penetrate deeper into the skin and provide many therapeutic benefits including improvement in the skin's appearance and structure as well as relief from pain. There is NO UV light associated with Red Light Therapy.

Red Light Therapy is able to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, and skin problems including acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea because infrared light promotes collagen growth in skin tissue. Red Light Therapy has also been shown to provide relief from arthritis, chronic and acute pain, and also increase injury healing time. Infrared light stimulates blood circulation and releases endorphins to provide a soothing effect. Infrared light also stimulates the production of ATP, an essential energy source used in body tissues that promotes rapid healing.

 
 




                 
The initial effect of Red Light Therapy is clearer, brighter, and tighter feeling skin. The long-term effect is improved skin clarity, tone, and texture. Fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, and dark circles as well as puffiness around the eyes are reduced, while the effects of environmental damage and chronological aging are minimized.

Over time Red Light Therapy will help restore tired-looking skin, decrease fine lines and wrinkles, diminish freckles, age spots, and acne, even out pigmentation, minimize the size of facial pores, improve the appearance of sun-weathered skin, and stimulate collagen synthesis, improving the skin's supportive structure.

The Right Light Therapy program recommends 3 to 4 sessions a week for 60 to 90 days, followed thereafter by 1 to 2 sessions a week. Best results are achieved by continuous use, which accelerates cellular activity and fuels the process of collagen and elastin synthesis. Protective eyewear is recommended, but not required.
